Raising Awareness on World Epilepsy Day 🧠💜

▪An insightful awareness session was organized by the National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities (Divyangjan) NIEPVD’S Department of Clinical and Rehabilitation Psychology and Research (DCRPR) on the occasion of World Epilepsy Day, focusing on the “Psychiatric and Behavioral Management of Epilepsy”.

▪This session aimed to educate and inform parents visiting Cross Disability Early Intervention Centre with their children (CDEIC) students from DCRPR, and faculty members of CDEIC & DCRPR about the crucial aspects of epilepsy management.

🔹Renowned experts Dr. Shobhit Garg (Professor & HoD, Psychiatry, SGRR) and Dr. S.K. Dhalwal (Clinical Psychologist & HoD, DCRPR, NIEPVD) shared their expertise, providing valuable insights into the medical and psychological dimensions of epilepsy care.

Valuable insights was shared on the psychological dimensions of epilepsy Renowned Experts Dr. Shobhit Garg & Dr. S.K. Dhalwal shared their expertise in the session.
