Innaugration of ‘AntarDrishti’- Sensory Dark Room

The National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities (NIEPVD), in collaboration with the National Association for the Blind, Delhi inaugurated ‘Antar Drishti’ – a unique sensory dark room. The facility was inaugurated by Shri Rajesh Aggarwal, Secretary, DEPwD, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, in the presence of Ms. Manmeet Kaur Nanda, Joint Secretary, DEPwD, and Shri Pradeep Anirudhan, Director, NIEPVD, Shri T.D. Dhariyaal President, NAB Delhi along with other senior officials.

‘Antar Drishti’ offers a transformative sensory experience aimed at sensitizing society to the realities of visual impairment and promoting empathy and inclusion.
