The soul-sound of Dehradun and a beacon of empowerment echoing far beyond. Born on March 31st, 2012, from the heart of the National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities (NIEPVD) and under the thoughtful guidance of the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, we are India’s voice for inclusion, ability, and awareness.
We are not just a radio station. We are a movement—a creative wave of community storytelling and purposeful broadcasting, run by the differently-abled for everyone. Every day from 7 AM to 8 PM, our frequency becomes a meeting ground where visually impaired radio jockeys take center stage, proving that vision goes far beyond sight.
Our airwaves carry more than sound. They carry awareness, opportunity, and change. Through vibrant talk shows, live interactions, and insightful features, we bring government policies, national events, and social schemes for Divyangjan (persons with disabilities) into the public ear and heart.
But our reach doesn’t end there. With a microphone in one hand and advocacy in the other, we proudly spotlight National and International Days, share inspiring stories, and provide a platform for skill-building and self-expression—amplifying voices that often go unheard.
At 91.2 FM Hello Doon, we don’t just broadcast—we belong.
