Admission Announcement for NIEPVD Vocational Training Courses

ADMISSION ANNOUNCEMENT

The Institute invites applications from eligible persons with Disabilities for admission to the following job roles, offered by the Department of Skill Development & Economic Empowerment (DSDEE) at NIEPVD, under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.

Interested candidates shall submit the duly completed application form within 14 days from the date of publication of the admission notice on the Institute’s official website.

1. Eligibility Criteria

1. The minimum educational qualification for the job roles mentioned at Sl. Nos. 1, 2, and 4 shall be Class 10^th pass. For the job role involving Braille Shorthand (Hindi), Mentioned in SL. No. 3 candidates must have passed Class 10th and possess proficiency in Hindi Braille.
2. Students with benchmark disability i.e. 40% or more as defined in RPwD Act, 2016 and having a valid UDID card issued by the competent authority.
3. Aadhar number is mandatory.
4. NOC from the employer in case of employee in any organization.

2. Selection Process:

1. In the event that the number of applications received exceeds the available seats for a particular job role, the Institute may conduct an online interview to select eligible candidates for admission.
2. In the case of job role Braille Shorthand (Hindi), the candidate’s Braille proficiency shall be assessed by the Institute through offline mode.
3. Trainees have to pay an amount of Rs. 1000/- per month for availing hostel & mess facility subject to the course duration.
