Appointment of Director on Deputation/Contract in National Institutes under DEPwD at NIEPVD, Dehradun
The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, has invited applications for appointment to the post of Director in National Institutes under its administrative control. The appointment is proposed through Deputation/Contract, subject to the eligibility conditions and terms prescribed in the notification.
The notification covers the National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities, Dehradun, along with other National Institutes under the Department. Applicants meeting the prescribed service, educational qualification and experience requirements may apply through the prescribed procedure. The tenure of appointment will initially be for a period of 03 years and may thereafter be extended up to a maximum of 05 years, as per DoPT norms.

For Deputation, the notification specifies eligibility for officers under Central/State Government, Universities, Public Sector Undertakings, Autonomous/Statutory Organizations and other specified organizations. The prescribed service in the relevant Pay Level/Grade and experience in research, rehabilitation or administration, preferably in the field of Disability, are required. Contract applicants are required to fulfil the prescribed educational and experience criteria and the minimum CTC requirement.
Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format with the required supporting documents. For applications through proper channel, the notification requires relevant ACRs/APARs, vigilance and disciplinary clearance and other prescribed certificates/documents. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview, while the Competent Authority reserves the right to cancel, withdraw or alter the vacancy without assigning any reason. Separate applications are required for different institutes, and the application fee is to be submitted separately for each application.
