Signing of MoU Between NIEPVD & Amar Sewa Sangam

The National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities (NIEPVD) signed a MoU with the Amar Sewa Sangam, an eminent organization in the field of disability rehabilitation and inclusive development. The MoU was signed in the esteemed presence of Shri Rajesh Aggarwal, Secretary, DEPwD, Ms. Manmeet Kaur Nanda, Joint Secretary, DEPwD and Shri Pradeep A. , Director, NIEPVD along with other senior officials from the DEPwd and the Institute.

This collaboration will enable the implementation of the Enable Inclusion App—a digital tool for early identification, intervention, and monitoring of children with developmental disabilities. NIEPVD’s expertise in visual impairment will help expand the app’s reach and accessibility, making it more inclusive and effective for diverse needs.
This initiative aligns with DEPwD’s vision of leveraging technology to empower persons with disabilities and enhance the delivery of need-based rehabilitation services across the country.
